A Little About Me

At the most basic level, I’m a creative writer and storyteller with a head for strategy. I got my start as a literature student in college, went on to develop my conceptual and visual side in film school at USC and then in Hollywood’s star-making machinery as a script analyst and perpetually under-resourced filmmaker.

In the late 1990s, I became enthralled by the Internet. I moved into multimedia content development and the dot-com world, expanded into marketing/advertising, brand strategy, and new forms of online communication such as social media and blogging.

I’m passionate about all forms of communication and, over the past 10+ years, have been able to write, strategize, and successfully lead communications efforts in multiple mediums across industries as diverse as financial services, education, entertainment, nonprofit, telecommunications, apparel, hospitality, IT, solar, and biotechnology.

An active blogger and perpetual student of everything, I am always looking to contribute my brain, keyboard and leadership skills to agencies, companies or nonprofits that are serious about running towards the changes in how we’re communicating with one another.
